When AR Rahman replaced OKK with AYM?

Definitely, everyone is so much spellbound over the magical charisma of AR Rahman’s songs for Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. Recently during an interaction, Gautham Vasudev Menon mentioned that the song ‘Avalum Naanum’ was initially composed for Maniratnam’s O Kadhal Kanmani, which was about the boy’s song for the girl, who has left him for a while. As Maniratnam wanted a little more peppy and fast number, AR Rahman gave them ‘Aye Sinamika’. When ARR played ‘Avalum Naanum’ tune for Gautham Vasudev Menon, he immediately took it up for his court and that’s all the magical spell that we are going through now.
