Vetrimaaran’s protege after Siddharth-Jai gets Samuthirakani
Filmmaker Manimaran, being a long time associate of director Samuthirakani made his directorial debut through ‘Udhayam’, which featured Siddharth in lead role. Aftermath this film, he directed ‘Jai’ in Pugazh, which was a mediocre show. Now the director will be directing a movie titled ‘Sanga Thalaivan’, which is produced by Vetrimaaran under the Grassroot Film Company.
Samuthirakani, Karunaas, Aram fame Sunu Lakshmi and Vijay TV Ramya will be performing important roles. The film is based on the novel ‘Thariyudan’ written by Bharathinathan. The film deals with the issues involving the industries across the cities of Salem and Erode in Tamil Nadu. While the shooting of this film is expected to go on floors by January 22, the details about others in the cast and crew will be announced shortly.
