There has always been a misinterpretation of what a sequel is, especially when it comes to South industry. A new instalment commencing from the point of it’s prequel climax would eventually meet up the criteria of being ennobled as ‘Sequel’, but the formulae end right with the title here. Apparently, the curious case of Aranmanai 2 seems to be the same, where the curious excitements pondered up if it would continue from the point, where a dark ghostly apparition reappears by final credits of 2014 hit Aranmanai.

Sundar C declares openly, “Aranmanai 2 is not a continuation of Aranmanai and it has a new dimension to it,” and he continues to add that the sets were often bound to some paranormal activities. Of course, the second instalment to this franchise boasts of a huge star-cast involving Siddarth, Sundar C, Trisha, Hansika Motwani and Poonam Bajwa in lead roles, which is scheduled for release, this Friday.
