Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru to choose this National holiday for release?

Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru was wrapped up recently and the actor gifting everyone gold coins on the sets has generated good vibes about the film. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film is reported to be a biopic on the life of Air Deccan Founder, who hails from Tamil Nadu. However, sources mention that it’s about an ordinary man with an extraordinary dream and vision achieving his goals with ambitious drive.

There has been an affirmation from 2D Entertainment that the movie will be hitting screens in January 2020. It was earlier rumoured that the movie could have a release along with Superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar for Pongal festival. However, now some of the sources mention that the makers are keen on eyeing for Republic Day weekend release.
