Suriya’s S3 TN rights sold bigger price, but not 40Crores. With some of the previous films of Suriya not performing well in box office, the actor came up with a stunning effort in ‘24’. The film managed to make a decent collection, but it didn’t meet the expectations of Suriya as producer in Tamil version, Nevertheless, the Telugu version managed to sweep up with incredulous profits. Now with the actor shooting for his upcoming film ‘Singam 3’, directed by Hari, there comes exciting news that Udhayam Entertainment, a production and distribution studio has acquired the theatrical rights in Tamil Nadu for a whopping budget.
Although sources claim that the business involves around 40Crore, it is reported to be a take report as trade analysts believe that such wouldn’t be the scenario for Suriya’s market as his previous instalment of Singam and his recent releases have just been mediocre. The film will hit screens for Pongal 2017 and there is 30% shooting pending to be completed.
