STR and Maniratnam make it on time now. That’s quite an apparent co-incidence, where you get to see two different projects that are on higher expectations getting through the same phase of shooting. Yes, soon after the festive occasion of Eid, Manirathnam started shooting for ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. The first leg of shooting commenced on July 9 at Ooty, where it involved lots of star-cast and Maniratnam completed the schedule on day before yesterday.

On the other end, STR also kick-started the shooting of AAA – Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan directed by Adhik Ravichandran on July 9 and completed it at a rocket speed by yesterday. The news was affirmed by Adhik on Twitter page thanking STR for a greater cooperation and making it on rocket speed momentum. The first schedule involving retro portions were shot with Shriya Charan, Mahat and VTV Ganesh.
