Prabhu Deva with 6 big releases in 2018?

Choreographer-actor turned filmmaker and producer Prabhu Deva has been on the spree of amusing us consistently. His long pending release ‘Kalavadiya Pozhudhugal’ directed by Thankar Bachchan that was inside cans for a very long time had opened for release by last yearend. The Pongal festival had his ‘Gulaebhagavali’ hitting screens. Now, there are four big movies that are lined up at different stages of production. His silent thriller titled ‘Mercury’, directed by Karthik Subbaraj will be hitting screens on April 13. He had recently completed shooting for AL Vijay’s Lakshmi and has almost wrapped up with Yung Mung Sung. He has winded up shooting 50% of Charlie Chaplin 2 shooting, which is expected to be July release. Now he has signed up for a new film titled ‘Oomai Vizhigal’, which is directed by debutant Sam Akash. The shooting will commence shortly and will release before this yearend. So it’s 6 big releases for the actor in 2018.
