“My adult comedies doesn’t hurt women sentiments” – Santhosh
Filmmaker Santhosh Jayakumar had hit the headlines on both contexts of positive and negative traits. The former one was that he made sure that his producer gets his sacs filled with profit and that happened with the debut film ‘Hara Hara Mahadevaki’. The latter one was nothing but the criticisms from all ends about the adult contents. But nothing seemingly impacted the director as he continues to travel in the same genre with ‘Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu’, which is scheduled for release shortly.
He has almost completed shooting for ‘Ghajinikanth’, which has Arya and Sayyeshaa Saigal in lead roles, which is a romantic comedy. On asking about the first couple of movies based on adult genres, Santhosh says, “It’s true that I wanted to experiment with this genre. But my adult comedies never hurt the women sentiments or degrade them in any way.”
