Mersal final judgment gets positive

After much prolonging curiosities, it’s a positive result for Mersal. The Chennai High Court has dismissed the suit on title issue, thereby retaining the title ‘Mersal’. The controversial grounds had its occurrence, when a producer owning a similar title had filed a legal suit against the producers at Thenandal Studios Limited. Finally, the judgment has pushed Mersal team to a much bigger elation. They are already working on the positive approach towards release. The censor of this film has been already applied and the viewing might happen anytime sooner.

Mersal is directed by Atlee starring Vijay in three roles. Samantha, Nithya Menen and Kajal Aggarwal have their important characterizations alongside SJ Surya, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu and Kovai Sarala.

AR Rahman is now composing additional tunes for the film apart from the already hit album. GK Vishnu is handling cinematography. The film is hitting screens on October 19 for the festive occasion of Diwali.
