The filmmaker commenced the shooting of his forthcoming film ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ by July 8 and in a short time has managed to complete the first schedule in Ooty.

The first schedule wasn’t just a crew involving 2-3 main actors, but had many artistes. With the first schedule wrapped up, the crew after a short break would be heading to Kashmir for the new leg of production, which will have happen for a pretty long phase. The film features Karthi and Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles with Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath, RJ Balaji, Delhi Ganesh and few more prominent actors involved with AR Rahman composing music.
