Karuppan to replace Velaikkaran release?

Mahesh Babu starrer Spyder is getting close on the heels of completing the post-production works. The movie as announced earlier will be hitting screens for the festive occasion of Dussera. On the other end, Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran was the early bird to confirm its release for the same festive occasion. But now it looks like the shooting of few portions is still pending and thus the movie release is postponed. According to the latest information, there is a strong affirmation that Vijay Sethupathi’s Karuppan will be hitting screens for same festival occasion. The film is directed by Panneer Selvam and is produced by AM Ratnam and his daughter Aishwarya under the banner Shri Sai Ram Creations. Adding few more releases to the festive occasion are GV Prakash’s Semma and Nayantara starrer Semma has made a tentative announcement of its release.
