“Indian 2 is based on current issues we read in newspapers” – Kamal Haasan

Actor Kamal Haasan and Shankar are offering the toast of celebrations to all the diehard buffs of ‘Indian’ franchise. The first installment was released before 25 years and till now, it happens to be one of the most celebrated movies of Indian film industry. Now the duo is coming back together for the sequel, which will have Indian Thatha’s Spin-off character. Kajal Aggarwal is expected to play his spouse in the film, where she will be undergoing the 3D Modeling test shoot in USA. While the set works of the film have already commenced, the shoot will kick-start shortly. During this juncture, director Shankar has hinted something about the core of it. He says, “Indian 2 is based on the current issues that we in newspapers every day, where we come across the problems encountered by all of us. But I am sure, the character of Indian Thatha will be much more enthralling for we were spellbound looking at Kamal sir’s get up for the photo shoot that was done recently.”
