Gautham Vasudev Menon confirms next with Suriya

Gautham Vasudev Menon and Suriya have always offered the crème de la crème flicks from their stores. It started with Kaakha Kaakha followed by an emotionally awe-stricken movie ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’. Later, it was expected that both of them will be coming together for the film ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, which was launched as well. Nevertheless, the film was dropped due to some creative difference of opinions between them. Last year, there was an affirmation from GVM that he will be directing a film for Studio Green K.E. Gnanavel Raja featuring Suriya in lead role. But that project was actually taken up by Vignesh Shivn. Aftermath, the filmmaker started working with Chiyaan Vikram for the same script of ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’. In one of his recent interviews, the filmmaker has assured that he would be probably teaming up with Suriya in 2019 for a film.

As of now, GVM has lined up Dhanush starrer Enai Noki Paayum Thota and Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram.
