Dhanush starts shooting for Sri Thenandal Films

It happens to be surprisal news for all Dhanush fans out here now. The National award winning actor and producer had recently completed wrapping up with Maari 2. His much awaited Vada Chennai is scheduled for release in September. During this interim, he has now started shooting for his untitled directorial, which will be featuring him in lead role as well. The pooja happened yesterday in a nearby location close to Chennai and shooting is commencing today. Is it a period film or a contemporary one is something we need to wait and watch. Following ‘Mersal’, Sri Thenandal Films is producing this film, which will be featuring one more leading Telugu hero alongside Dhanush. The details about others in the cast and crew would be announced soon. Meanwhile, the theatrical trailer of Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai would be released on July 28 for the birthday of Dhanush.
