Current status of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam happens to be the current topic of Tinsel Town. The shooting of this film started in March, but was eventually stalled due to the Kollywood strike. It was reported during the time of commencement that the entire project will be wrapped up in 55 days and will be hitting screens in July. But with the Kollywood strike, it was rumoured that the release might get pushed. But then, nothing seems to have hampered the plans of Mani Ratnam. The shooting schedules are happening as planned. Currently, STR, Jyotika and few others are shooting in Dubai. Vijay Sethupathi might be joining the sets by end of this month. It looks like only some patch up works will be pending aftermath this schedule. If everything goes well as planned, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam will be hitting screens on August 15.

STR, Arvind Swami, Jyotika, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Appani Sharath, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha and many more prominent actors are a part of this multi-starrer film.
