After Cuckoo, Raju Murugan picks political satire
When a journalist turns into filmmaker, there could be a sense of exceptional thinking that they would eventually drop on their script papers. Filmmaker Raju Murugan was an illustration and it was so much evident with the film ‘Cuckoo’ that marked his debut directorial in Kollywood. Taking a long hiatus of more than a year, he has now completed shooting his second outing titled ‘Mannar Mannan Engira Joker’.
Touted to be a political satire, the film features a 60-yr old man as film’s protagonist. Speaking about the film, Raju Murugan utters that after completing Cuckoo, he was there on a trip across the country nearly for 6 months, where he happened witness the changes that has happened in our society. Eventually, this instigated him to make a film on these collections and the post-production works are almost completed.
