Actor Pandiarajan’s son gets an emotional drama on relationships

Madhuraj, earlier an assistant director of the popular director Bhagyaraj, is making his bow as a director with the film ‘Thodra’. Earlier, Madhurak had released around 18 films including Chennai Ungalai Anbudan Varaverkirathu’ and ‘Chocobar’ (directed by Ram Gopal Varma).

Now, he is set to make his bow as a director with ‘Thodra’. He explained that ‘Thodra’ is based on 2 incidents which shook the entire state of Tamil Nadu. Prithvirajan, son of director-actor Pandiarajan, is acting as the hero. A newcomer, Veena, is making her debut as the heroine and debutant Saravana Kumar will appearing as baddie . Director-actor A. Venkatesh, ‘Mynaa’ Susan, Theepatti’ Ganesan, and ‘cool’ Ganesh will be seen playing important characterizations.

The director further explained that the film is about how relations are treated in the present social lifestyle. Only the financial status and the social status facilitate the bonding/unbinding between relations.

Uthamaraja, who composed the music for the Kannada film. Aapthamithra-2’, makes his debut as the music director in this film. Anji of Pokkiri Raja fame is handling cinematography and Rajesh Kannan, who has edited many films including ‘Aaradhu Sinam’.

Chandra Saravana Kumar is producing this film under the banner J S Apoorva Productions. The film is expected to be released soon.
