Vijay 62 gets confirmed for Diwali 2018

A simple and serene surprise that came upon the dawn of Thursday! Vijay 62 being launched without any fanfare and grandeur. The shooting commenced this morning with the ritual pooja. It is also confirmed that the movie will be hitting screens on Diwali 2018. This is going to be a very celebration for Vijay fans as Diwali sentiment happens to be a lucky one for Ilayathalapathy. Last year, it became a raging hit for ‘Mersal’ and now this history being repeated would put fans on ultimate fiesta. The film features Keerthy Suresh in female lead role and others in the star-cast would be unveiled shortly. It is already officially announced that AR Rahman will be composing music for this film. Girish Gangadharan of Angamaly Diaries is handling cinematography and Sreekar Prasad on editing. AR Murugadoss is teaming up with Vijay after success of Thuppakki and Kaththi. While the shooting of this film has already commenced today, it will be hitting screens for the festive occasion of Diwali 2018.
