“Vada Chennai has come back to those where it started” – Dhanush

National award filmmaker Vetrimaaran and actor Dhanush have set the celebrations on over the release of their much awaited ‘Vada Chennai’. Scheduled for release on October 18 for the festive occasion of Aayutha Pooja, actor Dhanush in his recent interactions with media said, “Vada Chennai has come back to those, where it started. He said so as a reply to Aishwarya Rajesh, who pondered to be a part of this film and even requested some of the mutual friends to recommend her for this movie. He said, “Aishwarya Rajesh, you were the initial choice for the female lead. Finally, after going more rounds, it has come back to you. Apparently, I was supposed to do this film following which it went towards STR. But somehow, we were all destined to work together in Vada Chennai, which has happened now.”

With the musical score of Santhosh Narayanan and cinematography handled by Velraj, the film also features Andrea Jeremiah, Ameer and few more prominent actors in lead roles.
