MLA Movie Review

At times, Telugu cinema tries to foray into a different zone breaking the regular prototyped formulae. But what favours the audiences so much is the masala flavours that comes amalgamated with a social backdrop. MLA is one such movie that doesn’t scatter away from the routine commercial genre. Kalyan Ram plays a highly energetic young chap, who falls in love with Kajal Aggarwal at first sight. But there happens to be a reason why she keeps rejecting his proposal though she has a soft corner for him. Things take a turn when the buried past of Kajal Aggarwal is revealed.

Having revealed the gist of tale, we’re sure by now you’ve grasped what the film is all about. It’s a heavy load of boredom, except the sequences involving Brahmanandam. Everything looks illogical and even the characterizations are so much dumb. It’s quite irking to see why the most talented actors of Bollywood are minimized to goofy villains out here. Ravi Kishen is so much appropriate for this illustration. The actor is far-famed for his brilliant performances and we get nothing here but a replica of Prakash Raj’s act in Vijay starrer Tirupachi. Kalyan Ram overacts throughout the film. It looks like Kajal Aggarwal’s focus is literally turning to be a fashionista than being a proficient actress.

The screenplay is so much predictable and there isn’t much to get surprised. The songs are placed at inappropriate situations.
