Sita Ramam Movie Review
When a production house has a command over the entire project, you can evidently see that its results are phenomenal. Sita Ramam distinctly proves that every single person in the unit and every day process of shaping it have been incredible. Just run through the imagination of the director narrating this story to an actor or production house, and it’s not easy to convince them except for the one-page story. This movie is all about the trust that entire team had upon the script. With a running length of 2 hrs 45 mins, it’s really a tough task to keep the audience engrossed. Director Hanu Raghavapudi has excelled in this aspect.
Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur are the heart and soul of this movie. The very well-written characters and their strong performances make it look more appealing. In many places, one could sense the traces of yesteryear classic epic Veer Zaara or the plot slightly giving you a kick of Letters to Juliet (Well, these stories have least similarities though). However, it has a very good writing that offers you the best experience. The beauty about the movie is that it doesn’t go high or low over its graph, and it retains the same momentum throughout.
Rashmika Mandanna is more like an audience, whose quest for the destination and the shock she goes through at the end leaves us frozen in amazement. Cinematography plays the major element in making sure that even the small dramatic moments too look good.
The performances of other actors including Sumanth, Vennela Kishore, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sachin Kandekar and Prakash Raj are splendiferous.
Overall, Sita Ramam gives you a feel of watching an emotional love story after many years on big screens.
