Story/Plot :

Singam 2 is a sequel of 2010 hit movie “Singam”. Story starts In Thoothukudi After Durai Singam resigned from Indian Police for his secret mission. Here he joined as NCC Master In Private School, Hansika is a student in same school – What is ‘Operation D’ ? , Did He loved Hansika, Durai Singam – Kavya Are Married Or Not ? , How Durai Singam Makes Indian Police Proud ? Character/Acting:

Suriya as Durai Singam – A firing NCC master & Deputy Superintendent of Police – He is a man blasting through the wilds of Thoothukkudi To South Africa , His dialogue delivery, screen presence worked well. It’s an one man show from Surya carrying the movie completely right from the beginning. His dedication needs a big applause.

Anushka Shetty as Kavya – She has done a very cute glamorous role as like her previous flicks. She Don’t have more space in the movie and has done her level best.

Hansika Motwani as Dhivya – She is a key role of this film. But her performance need more improvements. She looks cute and sweet as +2 School Girl in this flick.

Vivek as S.I. Erimalai , Santhanam as Raaghavan – Both done their best in comedy plots. But this time Vivek scored more than Santhanam (Santhanam Warehouse Vishwaroopam Comedy Were Nice).

Danny Sapani as an African Convict – Once again Tamil Cinema introduced new foreign country Artist. Director missed to sketch this character perfectly.

Radha Ravi , Nassar , Vijayakumar , Rahman , Manorama – Did Commendable Job

Technical Aspects :

Music by Devi Sri Prasad – Music score is one of  the negative asset Of  this movie. Songs & Background Music doesn’t appeal to the normal audience (May be Mass Audience Likes it).

Cinematography by Priyan – As usual he did  a wonder full Job As D.O.P, angles are totally different. He rocked as usual like his previous films (Singam & Velayudham).

Editing by V. T. Vijayan – He has done his part well and made the first half racy. His Editing takes over movie to the next level. But in second half his touch totally missed

Direction:

Hari’s work has to be appreciated a lot for keeping the right notches through from part 1 and make no mistake about it. And none of the cast or crew makes any bones about it, which is perhaps its saving grace.

Overall Effectivness Of  The Film: 

Singam 2 is pretty ordinary masala film, but Hari screenplay, dialogues, racy first half , suriya’s performance made this movie as hit product

DSP (MUSIC & BGM), Duration of  the film (2 hour 47 Mins), and draggy screenplay in second half is the negative part in this flick.
