Rudhramadevi confirmed for release

Anushka Shetty’s bi-lingual period historical epic drama Rudhramadevi has been confirmed for release on September 4th. Earlier, the film missed to keep up the release date on many occasions citing delay in the post production. Now, the makers have assured in a press meet that the promotions will commence next month and the film will hit the marquee on September 4th.

After the blockbuster success of Anushka’s Arundhati across many industries, Tollywood is hoping for another grand success with Rudhramadevi too. Vishal’s Paayum Puli directed by Suseenthiran is also set for release on the same day.

Directed by Gunasekhar, Rudhramadevi features an ensemvle cast of Allu Arjun, Catherine Tresa, Nithya Menen and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles apart from Anusha who plays the titular role. The film has music composed by Maestro Ilaiyaraja.
