RRR Movie Review
SS Rajamouli has become an inevitably, promising big brand of the Indian film industry. With his previous movies pinning down tremendous positive reviews and box office results, his magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ has escalated the economical stature of the Telugu Industry. His new release ‘RRR’ features Jr. NTR, Ram Charan Teja in the lead roles, with Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, and a few other prominent actors in the important characters.
The film is about two revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr. NTR), who existed during the Pre-Independence era. How the situations bring them close to each other and let them join hands to fight against the brutal British Empire is the basic plot.
The first salient feature about RRR is the innovative story writing. For those not from the Telugu regional backdrop, just imagine a movie, where Subash Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh who never met in real life, come together and combat against the British. What all they could have done with their brawny and brainy approach? This is the essence of bringing the two revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem together. To be precise, this isn’t a Pan-Indian movie, but a movie devoted to the Telugu domain for the audiences of this particular region alone can connect very well to the movie. So, what’s the next best part of this movie? The screenplay during the first half, and the way, SS Rajamouli establishes the two lead characters is brilliant. The performances by Jr. NTR and Ram Charan Teja are tremendous and the entire movie banks its trust on their acting alone. The emotional part in the writing is engrossing, where everyone can connect and feel its spirit. The other actors – Alia Bhat, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, and Samuthirakani have done their portions well.
The musical score and the visual works are the biggest pillars in enhancing the writing part of this movie. The action sequences are neatly shot. The title credits scene, the pre-interval action block will leave the theaters crazy with unlimited applause. As the story travels into the second hour, the flashback moments, which are quite intense slightly give an impression of a speed breaker. However, the climax part leaves us enchanted with mind-boggling action sequences.
Overall, RRR is a wholesome entertainer that has a groovy amalgamation of action, emotions, patriotism, and amusing moments. Just spare some slow moments, and you’ll enjoy the show.
