Marked as Arjun’s 150th film, created much hype already to be a well scripted one with enough actions and thrill after the teaser has been released. Another talk of the town is definitely Arun Vaidyanathan who give quality cinema within short span of time with limited movies in his kitty. Two giants join together for nibunan and lets see the outcome.
A serial psycho killer makes continuous crime scene by leaving clues to cop for the next victim where cops tracks down which leads to open a closed case to unfold the masked killer!
Being an investigative thriller, it keeps the suspense till end and unpredictable about the masked man. While first half is fully into tracking the murder with clues after clues where second half goes with a flashback which becomes the prime reason for the revenge yet the suspect untie the mask only at the end.
Arjun, with his physique and neat makeover makes it fit for the cop role where action sequence are like ice on the cake for him. Prasanna and varalakshmi are assistant cops with arjun and comes almost all scenes with what is expected performance. Varalakshmi in one of pre-climax scene handles a tricky situation in hospital and the way she explains about the plan are expressive. Suhasini and suman as guest role for the flashback portions.
Editing goes like investigation and family moments in parallel and never get a single scene which keeps the momentum low. BGM works well in many parts though the songs doesnt stay in mind.
When the suspect unmask, the moment we get a bigger disappointment like the character doest suit well for the hype created throughout for the victim and when he makes fun at the climax, its become more like we forget all the good moments spent.
Though arun takes a typical serial crime, a flashback, revenge but through the puzzle and investigative thriller, he keeps the audience clueless till the end.
