Miss You Movie Review
Actor Siddharth’s ‘Miss You’ is a Romantic Entertainer, featuring Ashika Ranganath in female lead role. The film features an ensemble star-cast of Karunakaran, Bala Saravanan, and many other actors. The film is directed by Rajasekar, who earlier made the films ‘Maapillai Singam’ and ‘Kalathil Sandhipoam’. Ghibran has composed music for this film.
The story revolves around a young man (Siddharth), who sets out of his house after having a clash with local politician. After meeting an accident, he loses his memory and in Bangalore falls in love with a girl (Ashika Ranganath), who he falls in love with. However, she is already married, and then comes an unexpected twist, which is untied with fun and entertainment with some emotions during the second half.
Siddharth has always captured the attention of universal crowds with his romantic roles. He is now back to the same zone after a long time. Eventually, he manages to impress the audience with his casual performance. His spontaneous performance and even the minute reactions that evoke humour and cuteness are at its best. To be precise, the scene, where he meets the politician and reacts after losing his memory is an appreciable one. Ashika Ranganath has a great screen presence, and her efforts to give the best performance is visible in many places. The casting of other actors has been done perfectly. The humour quotients of Karunakaran, Bala Saravanan and Lollu Sabha Manohar are enjoyable.
The only disappointment with the film is Ghibran’s musical score. The promising music director has carried the charm of delivering ‘Album’ hits, especially when it comes to romantic movies. However, he has missed it with this movie, in both songs and BGM. Cinematography is commendable.
After watching the hilarious entertainers of director Rajasekar, the first half might give you some slight disappointments as it doesn’t carry of his traits. However, he starts playing his perfect artistry during the second half, thereby making the experience enjoyable. There are few drawbacks with the dialogues and the way, few scenes are written and materialized.
However, the film doesn’t have any harsh or sensitive elements, thereby making it an enjoyable experience for the ones, watching it with friends and family.
On the whole, Miss You is a decent and watchable film that can be worth for the time and for the money you spend on tickets.
