Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal is Dulquer Salmaan’s 25th film, which is directed by Desingu Periyasamy. The film has Ritu Varma of Pelli Choopulu fame in female lead with Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rakshan and Niranjana playing important roles.

Story:

Dulquer Salmaan and Rakshan are App developers and animators, who become fraudsters carrying out smart tricks and earn big money through online shopping. In an unexpected turn, they indirectly knock the wrong doors of DCP Prathap (Gautham Vasudev Menon). As they decided to leave Chennai and get settled in Goa with their girlfriends (Ritu Varma and Niranjani), they are unaware about the trap that is set for them .

Screenplay, dialogues and direction:

It’s a wholesome entertainer and the film keeps you engaged, entertained with fun and thrills. From the first shot, we are hooked onto the film and never get distracted. The major reason is the gripping narration and strong characterizations written by Desingu Periyasamy. Just as we start predicting the story, it leaves us in complete surprise through the second hour with more twists. In particular, the intermission sequence will leave theatres in claps. Barring few logical misses, the film is engrossing.

Performance:

Dulquer Salman takes a cakewalk with cute performance. The way he remains cool and chilled during the intense moments is laudable. Gautham Vasudev Menon is the real treat for the audiences, whose character shaded with mystery will leave you in ultimate surprise by end. Ritu Varma has got a decent debut in Tamil cinema and she nails it down neatly. Niranjana is good. Rakshan keeps tickling your funny bones with his witticism.

Technical Aspects:

Top-notch cinematography is really appreciable. The costumes and interiors are yet another embellishment to the film, which indirectly influences in adding up the engagement. Music could have been better and editing is perfect.

As on whole, Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal will offer you delight and good entertainment if you’re going for it. You’ll not be disappointed anywhere.
