Ayalaan Movie Review

Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan is directed by Ravikumar and features musical score by AR Rahman.

The story revovles around the encounters of a good-hearted man and an alien, who together have to save the world from miscreants, who with deadly poison are going to ruin the planet.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan definitely needs special mention for choosing an unconventional script that involves risk and lots of challenges. He has underplayed in many places, thereby letting the visuals and alien character to dominate. He has clearly understood that its a kids movie and he shouldn’t steal the show with his mastered skills of dance and action, but instead should be a part of this big dream and vision of director Ravikumar.

During the initial moments, the voice of Siddharth looks little odd, but as the story progresses, it becomes befittingly good. Rakul Preet Singh has nothing exceptional to perform. The Comedy episodes of Karunakaran and Yogi Babu is fun-filled. Both the villain characters including Isha Gopikkar are just okay.

Technically, its VFX that deserves special mention. The alien character of Tattoo is appealing. The BGM by AR Rahman is literally amazing. He has exerted a lot of dedication towards this film.

If you are looking out for minuses, there are not much to mention, but a little bit of trimming would have given us a much more engrossing impact

Overall, Ayalaan deserves appreciations for not having a single profane, vulgar and indecent elements
