Sundar C’s second installment of ‘Aranmanai’ featuring Siddarth, Trisha, Hansika Motwani, Sundar C and Poonam Bajwa in lead roles is generating a good buzz and expectation level. Collaborating with Hip Hop Tamizha for the second time after ‘Aambala’, Aranmanai 2 music has a mix of different genres.
Amma (The Amman Song)
Singer: Malathi Lakshman
Sundar C’s previous installment of ‘Aranmanai’ had a similar song by the end of the film, where the Poojas and adorations are held in regard of worship for deity to cast away the devil. It looks like, this grandeur song has pictured for the same situation. It would surely have some prominence with set works and choreography with a tale interwoven in the backdrops.
Aranmanai 2 – Theme Music
Hip Hop Aadhi starts off the tune on a spellbinding note, but sudden transition towards hard metal rocks blended with rap verses look too bizarre. If the music director had tried to continue the same notes as in beginning, it would have been more nice. Although, we hear the strings emblazoning the emotions with a female vocal, it looks overdose for the listeners.
Kuchi Mittai
Singer: Anthony Dasan
A normal folk song laced with usual paradigms of instrumentals and it’s so hackneyed and again the instrumental parts are over louder. Nevertheless, Anthony Dasan has done his best work. It looks like Sundar C wanted to have a song ‘Petromax Light’ from ‘Aranmanai’ and insisted Hip Hop Tamizha to compose a similar song.
Maya Maya
Singer: Kailash Kher and Padmalatha
The song starts off with majestic notations where the orchestrations and chorus vocals are commendable. Later as Kailash Kher takes through the song, it has normal appeal and maybe, the grandeur in visuals could add up some intensity. Padamlatha has done a beautiful rendition.
Party with the Pei
Singer: Hip Hop Tamizh and Khareshma Ravichandran
The song has already become a sensational hit with the promotional videos that was released before few weeks. With all the hot missies on the block to shake legs with a much sensual appeal, it should bring forth more sizzles on the screens. Looks like it would be a promotional song occurring during the final credits of this film.
Poraada Poraada
Singer: Hip Hop Tamizha
The song reminiscences slightly off Hip Hop Tamizha’s independent album ‘Vaadi Pulla Vaadi’ and it sounds to be a neat work overall.. The Nathaswaram in the computerised tone is a beautiful attraction.
