Naga Chaitanya is a popular Indian actor who works mainly in Telugu cinema. He is the son of the legendary actor Nagarjuna and the grandson of the late Nageswara Rao, both of whom are icons of the Telugu film industry. Naga Chaitanya made his debut as a lead actor in 2009 with the film Josh, directed by Vasu Varma. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South for his performance in the film.
Naga Chaitanya was born on 23 November 1986 in Hyderabad. He did his schooling at PSBB School in Chennai and later graduated from Trinity College London with a degree in keyboard. He also trained in martial arts and guitar. He was interested in acting since his childhood and decided to pursue it as a career after completing his studies. He joined Satyanand’s acting school in Visakhapatnam and learned the nuances of acting for a year.
Naga Chaitanya is also a part of the Akkineni family, which is one of the most influential and respected families in the Telugu film industry. He is married to actress Samantha Akkineni, who is also his co-star in several films. The couple tied the knot in 2017 in a grand ceremony that was attended by many celebrities and fans. They are often regarded as one of the most adorable and loved couples in Tollywood.
Naga Chaitanya’s performance was appreciated by many and he won the Nandi Special Jury Award for his role. He has a huge fan following and is one of the most promising and talented actors of his generation.
