Will Kalakalappu 2 hit screens for Pongal?

This has turned to be one of the most curious questions out there in Kollywood. Right now, Trisha starrer Mohini, Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Koottam, Arvind Swamy’s Bhaskar Our Rascal and few other movies are confirmed for Pongal release. On the spur of moment, it looks like the release of Kalakalappu 2 could be making its way for Pongal release as well. The film is directed by Sundar C featuring Jai, Jiiva, Mirchi Shiva, Catherine Tresa and Nikki Galrani in lead roles. Hip Hop Aadhi has composed music for this film and recently the film’s teaser that is embellished with beautiful colours and celebrations has received good response. The post-production works are expected to be completed in next 10 days and if everything goes well, the film might be getting ready for release on Pongal day.
