Why Vijay Sethupathi’s next film stays out of film festivals? National award winning filmmaker Manikandan has managed to complete couple of movies at the same in a shorter phase. This is quite unimaginable, where we find a filmmaker instantly getting to proceed to set these projects proceed and wrap up on time. While the first movie is titled as ‘Kuttrame Thandanai’ featuring Viddarth and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles, his other film titled ‘Aandavan Kattalai’ starring Vijay Sethupathi and Irudhi Suttru fame Ritika Singh is on the final stages of post-production works.

When asked the director, if he is planning to project these movies at a global panorama by screening at International Film Festivals, he says, “Kuttrame Dhandanai will be probably screened at some film festivals, but Aandavan Kattalai will not take that route. The latter is a comedy caper based on a serious issue, where we find Vijay Sethupathi, Ritika Singh and few more characters are held up by the fake passport issues.”
