Was Avesham considered before vedalam?

It’s such a rarity, when the makers maintain a heavy pack of suspense not unveiling the title of a movie, until the shooting is done. Ajith Kumar’s Yennai Arindhaal created such hypes, but Vedalam has crossed beyond such limits, where the title was revealed only when the project reached 100% level of shoot. Now with the makers planning to release the film simultaneously in Telugu, the title has been zeroed in as ‘Avesham’, which signifies the theme of being unceasingly infuriated.

Now with this title suiting the basic plot of what we have perceived from the buzzes and teaser, we are bound to certain assumptions. Could Avesham been one of the titles considered in the shortlisted queue alongside Vedalam? Maybe or perhaps not an affirmed fact, but both sound good and let us keep the fingers crossed for producers to spin profits in both versions.
