Vikram’s ‘Garuda’ to fly from September. Chiyaan Vikram has been busy involved in the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Iru Mugan’ scheduled for the release on September 8. The film is directed by Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame and is produced by Shibu Thameems with Nayantara and Nithya Menen in female lead roles… It was earlier planned up to kick-start the shooting of Vikram’s other film ‘Garuda’ by month June itself, but due to the postponed production of ‘Iru Mugan’, it was stalled up.

Moreover, director Thiru along with his team members have been involved in the location hunts for a long time and they’ve zeroed in some salient locations that look more spectacular as Pakistan, since major portions have to be shot there in this backdrop. According to the latest reports, Vikram will start shooting for ‘Garuda’ by mid of September and Kajal Aggarwal is expected to join the team soon after wrapping up the film with Ajith Kumar tentatively titled ‘AK 57’.
