Following the long pending issue of FEFSI Vs Tamil Film Producers Council, many shooting have resumed now. This has made the routes cleared up for long pending projects like Mersal starring Vijay, Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Koottam, Sivakarthikeyan starrer Velaikkaran and many other shooting are proceeding at brisk pace. Meanwhile, Vikram-Trisha-Keerthy Suresh starrer Saamy 2 will kick-start the shooting on September 24. On the very next day, Suriya will have the final schedule of his upcoming film Thaana Serndha Koottam commencing. This is a mere coincidence, but it is nice to see that the issues between the associations being solved are bringing back the good scenario in Tamil industry.

Saamy 2 is directed by Hari, who made the first part of this blockbuster hit in 2002. Bobby Simha will be playing negative role in this movie.
