“Vijay sir motivated me to direct Superstar Rajinikanth sir” – Director Nelson

Filmmaker Nelson is super excited as he has got back to back big offers in the movie industry. Currently, he is keeping his fingers crossed over the success of his upcoming movie ‘Beast’ starring Vijay in the lead role. While the movie is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on April 13, 2022, the director will soon start directing Superstar Rajinikanth in his forthcoming movie tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 169’.

In his recent interview, Nelson said, “When the shooting of Beast was on full swing, it was Vijay sir, who insisted me that I should direct a movie for Superstar Rajinikanth sir. It is a very well-known fact that Vijay sir is a huge fan of Rajinikanth sir. I was doubtful whether I have the potential to direct such a legend. But Vijay sir told me to complete the script, and the rest will go as planned. Apparently, I was really surprised when Rajinikanth sir Okayed my script. It’s really great to experience the positive vibes of Vijay sir.”
