Vijay Sethupathi clarifies on his role in Rajinikanth-Karthik Subbaraj film
Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has turned to be the cynosure of everyone’s eyes in 2018. Much alike the previous year, even this year has been lining up more number of projects for him. Apparently, he already completed shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, 96 and Junga. Apart from these movies, he is involved in the making of ‘Seethakaathi’, directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan. In one of his recent interviews, the actor has affirmed that he will be joining Rajinikanth-Karthik Subbaraj film from next month. This schedule will be completely held in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu. When asked if he is playing negative role in this film, the actor says that he himself is not aware about it. He adds, “I happened to come across news claiming that I am playing negative role opposite Rajinikanth in this film. When Karthik Subbaraj asked about it, he said “Don’t worry about it. We can look into it on the shooting spot.” I am also curious to know what my role is all about.”
