After Blockbuster Singam-2, Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green joins again with Surya for their 11th production venture titled MASSS – A Venkat Prabhu title. Venkat Prabhu has been roped in to direct the film while Nayantara and Amy Jackson play the female leads. Premji Amaran does an important role as expected. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music. Cinematography by R.D.Rajasekar and editing by Praveen K.L.

The film was officially launched with a pooja on April 14. And first day of MASSS shoot begins on 11-07-2014. Venkat Parbhu confirmed this through his twitter page; he seeks the blessing and wishes from everyone. Main scenes are to be canned in a sea shore. Film was reported to be a horror comedy while VP stated that he was “trying something new” and that he couldn’t reveal the genre.
