Vaibhav’s elder brother Sunil is Vijay Sethupathi’s villain in Seethakaathi

It happens that Vijay Sethupathi movies always find a perfect casting that almost all the actors get to score brownie points. Here in his upcoming film ‘Seethakaathi’, there seems to be more of such enthralling factors. One among them is actor Vaibhav’s elder brother Sunil playing the baddie. Filmmaker Balaji Tharaneetharan says that he was actually looking out for a peculiar face to play this antagonist’s role. It shouldn’t be a routine one of having terrific and hazardous one, but instead should tickle the funny bones of audiences too. So he had to approach producer CV Kumar later followed by playback singer Mano, who really loved the roles, but couldn’t make it due to various reasons. Apparently, the director had to come across Vaibhav’s elder brother Sunil in a birthday party and had an impulsive thought that he has found the right one. After some couple of weeks’ acting courses, Sunil gave his best try and finally got himself acknowledged as Vijay Sethupathi’s baddie in Seethakaathi. The film is produced by Passion Studios, which is scheduled for December 20 release worldwide.
