Guys and girls get ready to welcome our ‘Vaalu’. The Silambarasan – Hansika starrer directed by debutant director Vijay Chander is produced by S.S. chakravarthy under the banner of NIC Arts. The young superstar who was last seen in ‘Kakka Muttai’ & plays ‘shap’ in this film. The film’s first teaser was released in 2012 after which shooting for the film commenced.

It was said that the film would release for Diwali the same year. As Poda Podi had been in production since 2008, STR opted to finish that venture first. So vaalu was put on hold.
