Ulaganayagan shifts his gear to Thoongavanam

After the success of Uthamavillain,Ulaganayagan KamalHaasan is all set to start his next film titled ‘Thoongavanam’. We said 10 days back that Rajkamal Films International had registered the title ‘Thoongavanam’ with the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce.Its been confirmed now.Directed by Kamal’s longtime associate Rajesh, the film has Trisha playing the female lead along with Prakash Raj, Manisha Koirala and another young heroine. Main Cast are yet to be finalized officially. Ghibran scores music for ‘Thoonga Vanam’. Sanu Vaarghese of Vishwaroopam fame will be wilding the camera, Editor will be Vijay Shankar.

Thoongavanam will be a fast paced thriller.Shooting will get inaugurated in Hyderabad on May 24.Another news is Uma Riyaz Khan has now been signed up to do an important role and the lady is all excited to be a part of such a prestigious project.Uma Riaz, a huge fan of Kamal had acted with him in Anbe Sivam 14 years back and is thrilled to share screen space after so many years.Earlier, there were plans to shoot the film in Mauritius. However now, the movie will be shot in India itself. The entire story unfolds in a night, it is said. First look will be revealed soon.Stay tuned.
