Ghibran together with his Chennai 2 Singapore team were blocked by highway officials at the border of Bhutan for not having a key document. This is a prerequisite when crossing national borders.

“We knew that we were in trouble, but when the security officers came to know that I had composed songs for Kamal Sir’s films like Vishwaroopam, Uttama Villain, Papanasam and Thoongavanam, they were thrilled. We had a chat over a cup of tea and they were eager to find out about Superstar’s stylish performance in Kabali. They even listened to the two songs from Chennai 2 Singapore and loved them. I’m glad that Tamil cinema is well-received even in this part of the world,” said an elated Ghibran.

The team is on the way to Myanmar to release the third song from Chennai 2 Singapore.
