Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Ippadai Vellum censored

The film Ippadai Vellum stars Udhayanidhi Stalin and Manjima Mohan’ directed by Gaurav Narayanan. Lyca Productions has funded the film, which has the post-production work of the film completed now.

The Censor team which saw the film did not recommend any cuts. However, they have given U/A certificate for the film.

In a recent trend, Udhayanidhi has been choosing different kinds of roles in his movies. He has acted as a software engineer in this film. Gaurav Narayanan had earlier directed the film Thoonga Nagaram with the background of Madurai city. In the film Sigaram Thodu, he had focused on about ATM thefts.

In Ippadai Vellum, he has chosen software industry as the background. It is expected to be released in November.
