Maestro Ilayaraja, the emperor of musical kingdom has got a major reason for his fans to celebrate as Bala’s Thaara Thappattai marks his 1000th album. The film is set in the rural backdrops with folk and culture as the main theme. Unlike the previous films of Bala, it will be an out and out commercial entertainer laced with fun and celebration of music.

The audio launch of Thaara Thappattai is reported to be held on December 17. It will be a grand event organised for the public and Vijay TV has reportedly signed up to hold this event. Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Think Music has acquired the audio rights of this film. Thaara Thappattai features Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles
