The mishap at Indian 2 shooting – Summons for Kamal & Shankar?

The police have decided to send the summons to the actor Kamal Hassan and Director Shankar regarding the accident that occurred at the shooting of the film Indian 2.

Shankar is directing the movie Indian 2 starring Kamal Hassan. The shooting of this film was in progress at the sets constructed in the EVP Film City located near Chennai Nazrathpettai.

During the shooting on the night of 19h February, the crane collapsed and fell down. 3 people were killed on the spot including the Assistant Director Krishna. Many others were injured and admitted to hospitals.

Police action has been taken suing the producer Lyca Productions under 4 sections. In this situation, the police have now decided to send the summons to Kamal Hassan and director Shankar to conduct enquiries. Further, it is gathered that the police has decided to send the summons to all the people present in the shooting spot. Thus, all artistes including supplementary actors, technicians, and others would be summoned for enquiry.
