Thani Oruvan postponed from August 14

According to the reliable sources in the industry, theatrical release of Jayam Ravi’s Thani Oruvan which was earlier announced as August 14 has been postponed to August 28.

The reason cited is that the actor’s Sakalakala Vallavan is releasing on July 31 so Thani oruvan’s release within fourteen days will actually affect the run of the latter.

AGS Entertainments, the producers of Thani Oruvan are also planning to release the film on August 28 because there won’t be big competition and they could enjoy the one week solo run in more than 300 screens across Tamil Nadu.

Going by the reports, both Vaalu and Vasuvum Sarvananum Onna Padichavanga will be competing each other on August 14.
