After wrapping up the Kolkatta schedule, the Thala 56 team is back in Chennai for their next leg of shoot which will commence in a week’s time. Siva has instructed the art director to mount a lavish set of a marriage hall in Chennai to shoot some important scenes.

The team has completed 65% of the shooting and the rest will be completed in the month-long final schedule. The film is slated for Diwali release in November.

Produced by AM Rathnam, the film stars Ajith and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Anirudh has composed music for the film, which is said to be an urban-based action entertainer. Lakshmi Menon and Ashwin Kakamanu play important roles.
