“Sharathulu Varthisthai” Pre-release Event: A Celebration of Team Effort and Resilience
“Sharathulu Varthisthai,” starring Chaitanya Rao and Bhoomi Shetty and directed by Kumaraswamy (Akshara), is produced by Nagarjuna Samala, Srish Kumar Gunda, and Dr. Krishnakanth Chittajallu under the banner of Star Light Studios. The movie is gearing up for its theatrical release on the 15th of this month. Hero Priyadarshi was the chief guest at the pre-release event of this movie in Hyderabad.
At this event, Director Kumaraswamy said, “If a film is made about the life of a common man, it will inevitably encounter many common problems. There will be those who are displeased, those who obstruct, and those who criticize. I wish all such people well. Special thanks to Shyam Lal sir, the then Joint Karimnagar District Additional Collector, and Press Club President Nagunuri Shekhar sir, for enabling us to make a movie based on Karimnagar. Without their support, making a film in Karimnagar would not have been possible. I am grateful to Mamidi Harikrishna and Mathura Sridhar Reddy for their guidance and support. My father always reminded me to be aware that there are intelligent people in society, and my mother advised me to adhere to the rules and traditions in whatever I do. She also wanted the films I make to be suitable for the young children who come to her tuition, a wish that I hold dear as if from another mother. I believe that a person should conduct business responsibly. A good movie will always be embraced by the audience, a fact proven both domestically and internationally. We hold the same belief for this film. I invite you to watch ‘Sharathulu Varthisthai’ in theaters on the 15th of this month; I assure you that your money and time will be well spent.”
Hero Chaitanya Rao remarked, “From the inception of this film, we’ve encountered numerous hurdles. Mamidi Harikrishna and Mathura Sridhar Reddy have extended remarkable support throughout this period. Madhura Sridhar Reddy played a pivotal role in connecting us with burgeoning talent, which proved immensely beneficial. Venu Udugula’s sibling has also offered steadfast support. We were honored by my comrade Priyadarshi’s presence at our event today. His backing of a commendable movie is deeply appreciated. Our claim of crafting an excellent film isn’t merely verbal; it necessitates your validation as the audience. This cinematic piece promises to be an engaging experience for viewers across all age brackets. It’s poised to be an indelible milestone in our professional journey. I’m profoundly indebted to director Kumaraswamy for bestowing upon me such an extraordinary opportunity. The responsibility of embodying a character named after Chiranjeevi instilled in me a blend of trepidation and veneration. I seize this moment to convey my heartfelt gratitude to Megastar Chiranjeevi. We eagerly anticipate your presence in cinemas for ‘Sharathulu Varthisthai’ premiering on the 15th of this month.”
Director Venu Udugula shared, “My association with director Kumaraswamy spans a decade, marked by his authentic disposition. We’ve remained unscathed by deceit from nations like China or Pakistan. A poignant line from the film, ‘Our trusted allies have betrayed us,’ mirrors the treacheries we sometimes face in life. The narrative resonates universally with Telugu communities, reflecting common life experiences. It’s a film that merits acclaim for its narrative, musical score, and visual storytelling. Having acquainted myself with the entire cast, I commend the producers for their initiative in bringing ‘Sharathulu Varthisthai’ to fruition and wish it resounding success.”
Actor Priyadarshi expressed his admiration for Chaitanya, highlighting his remarkable performances in films like ‘Keeda cola’. He shared a poignant dialogue from the movie, emphasizing the resilience and achievements of the middle class. Priyadarshi also acknowledged Kumara Swamy’s compelling storytelling and urged audiences to support the film in theaters.
Bhoomi Shetty conveyed her gratitude towards the Tollywood community for their support and expressed her excitement for her debut in the industry with this film. She emphasized that the movie reflects real life and is suitable for family viewing.
Producer Dr. Krishnakanth Chittajallu praised the collective efforts of the team behind ‘Sharathulu Varthisthai’ and recognized his co-producers Nagarjuna Samala and Shreesh Kumar Gunda. He described the protagonist as a modern-day Chanakya, portrayed by Chaitanya Rao, and stressed the significance of every character in the film.
Director-Producer Madhura Sridhar Reddy expressed his admiration for ‘Sharathulu Varthisthai’, highlighting the engaging teaser, trailer, and songs. He commended the film’s apparent sincerity and extended his best wishes to Chaitanya, Bhoomi Shetty, Akshara Kumar, and the team, urging audiences to watch the film on its release.
Cinematographer Shekhar Pochampally remarked on the visually striking scenes shot in Karimnagar and acknowledged the collective effort of the team in supporting the film’s visual appeal, expressing hope for its success.
Music Director Arun Chiluveru shared his enthusiasm for joining director Akshara Kumar’s project, praising lyricist Gorati Venkanna for bringing his tunes to life with meaningful lyrics. He also appreciated his friend Ram Miryala’s vocal contribution to the songs, which have been well-received, attributing this success to his lyricists and singers while expressing hope for the film’s success akin to its music.
