Is Balaji Sakthivel playing villain in Dhanush’s Asuran?

Following the critically acclaimed ‘Vada Chennai’, both Dhanush and Vetrimaaran are teaming up for the movie ‘Asuran’. Every announcement about the film has been getting the fans excited. First, it was the unexpected inclusion of Manju Warrier who debuts in Tamil cinema through this film followed by actor Karunaas’ son Ken Karunaas in an important role. The latest news is that filmmaker Balaji Sakthivel of ‘Kadhal’, ‘Kalloori’ and ‘Vazhakku En 18/9’ will be debuting as an actor through this movie. Although, there hasn’t been any official confirmation on this, we get to hear that he would be seen playing the baddie opposite Dhanush.

The shooting of Asuran is on full swing and is expected to be completed in a span of less than three months.

Soon after the completion of this film, both Dhanush and Vetrimaaran are expected to kick-start the shooting of ‘Vada Chennai 2’.
