Suriya’s NGK reaches final schedule in Chennai and Kochi

Suriya’s upcoming film Nandha Gopala Kumaran (NGK) was stalled over its shooting for some reasons. Now the shooting has resumed and it’s almost the end of final schedule. According to the reports, the final schedule has commenced in Chennai following which few portions will be shot in Kochi. With this 15-day schedule, the entire project comes to an end. It looks like the post-production works will extend for next couple of months following which the film is planned for summer release. Since February and March aren’t a favourable time for any movies due to academic examinations and IPL cricket, the makers might push the film towards summer.

SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu are producing this film for Dream Warrior Pictures. Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi are playing the female lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has completed composing almost all the tracks for this film. On the other hand, Suriya is rigorously shooting for his other movie, which is directed by KV Anand and produced by Lyca Productions.
